As a work-from-anywhere company, ADNET’s new office serves as a gathering space to drive problem-solving and innovation
ROCKY HILL, Conn. – ADNET Technologies, a managed IT services, cloud and cybersecurity provider, officially launched its new collaborative workplace in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, during a ribbon-cutting event Tuesday, August 17. The new office serves as its corporate headquarters as well as the co-location site for MachBlue Defense, an independent cybersecurity firm ADNET recently launched.
The firm’s investment in its new office follows its decision to permanently remain in a cloud-based, work-from-anywhere environment. ADNET is providing its team with the flexibility to operate wherever they’re most productive, and its workplace will serve as a shared space to connect and collaborate to develop solutions for clients.
Unlike a traditional office that provides separate, siloed spaces, this new workplace has no private offices, but rather, workstations and meeting spaces that are shared by everyone. The modern office design aims to build community and harness the power of spontaneous face-to-face interaction to drive innovation.
“When we decided to become a work-from-anywhere company, we gave our team the flexibility and tools to work from anywhere – and now, they have an inspiring space to come together to connect, collaborate and innovate,” said ADNET Co-CEO Christopher Luise. “In today’s economy, talented people are looking for opportunities to think critically, work collaboratively and do things differently to solve problems that make a difference. That’s the people-first environment we’re building at ADNET. We designed this space as a cultural and technological center for our employees, clients and business partners. It’s part of a wider ecosystem that will drive innovation and strengthen communities in Connecticut.”
The 6,000-square foot office, located on the first floor at 400 Capital Blvd., features meeting rooms and collaboration spaces suitable for a variety of employee needs, presentation screens and glassboards, as well as sit-stand convertible desks with large built-in monitors and storage units that convert to seating to encourage spontaneous collaboration. ADNET Technologies worked closely with OFI, a design-focused furniture provider, to bring its vision for a collaborative new workplace to life.
The Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce served as the co-host for ADNET’s event. They were joined by State Representative Kerry Wood, Rocky Hill Mayor Lisa Marotta, CBIA President and CEO Chris DiPentima, OFI representatives and ADNET staff members and clients.
“ADNET Technologies’ investment in its new workplace shows Connecticut’s technology sector is strong and growing,” said State Rep. Kerry Wood. “With innovative companies like ADNET constantly evolving to solve the latest tech challenges, our state will continue to attract and develop top talent – which is essential to future economic growth.”
“I am delighted to see the launch of ADNET’s new collaborative workspace and the investment in its corporate headquarters here in town,” said Rocky Hill Mayor Lisa Marotta. “The Town of Rocky Hill is proud to see the growing success of this community partner. Congratulations to the entire ADNET team.”
“This new collaborative workspace not only shows ADNET Technologies’ dedication to growing their workforce in Connecticut, but also their willingness to adapt to changing times with an office designed to support a hybrid workforce,” said CBIA President and CEO Chris DiPentima.
ADNET employs over 60 people across its company, and it is actively recruiting more IT professionals to join its team. In addition to the flexible work-from-anywhere environment, it offers progressive benefits packages, including a 100% covered healthcare option and a Responsible Time Off (RTO) policy that doesn’t limit the amount of time any employee can take off.
