ADNET Technologies reached out to its clients and internal staff to raise non-perishable product donations and monetary contributions to benefit Southington Bread for Life (“Bread for Life”). The drive began at the end of the summer in 2017 and culminated at ADNET’s Annual Client Appreciation Event on November 9th.

The annual food drive is one of several programs the ADNET team contributes to in order to give back to the community. Throughout this year’s food drive, ADNET and its clients collected over 1,000 non-perishable food items and toiletries for Southington Bread for Life, as well as several hundred dollars in cash donations.

“It is truly amazing to see our clients, partners and team coming together to make a difference in the community,” said Christopher Luise, executive vice president of ADNET Technologies. “Each year, we are humbled by their generosity. It is our privilege to support organizations such as Bread for Life that do so much good for those in need.”

Bread for Life is a nonprofit organization that provides meals, social interaction, and a well-stocked food pantry in order to feed thousands of people each year who qualify for supplemental food. The organization gives back to the community through a food pantry, senior meal program and a lunch program consisting of hot, full course meals served at noon, Monday through Friday. The Bread for Life team also provides each person with a bagged, take-home meal containing a sandwich, fruit, dessert and other food staples and offer a mobile donation service, bringing food items to neighborhoods and allowing people to “grocery shop” for the items they need.
