ADNET to begin the MSP/Cloud Verify certification process toward the goal of achieving SOC 2 Type II Certification

December 12, 2018: ADNET Technologies announced today that it will undergo the MSPAlliance’s MSP/Cloud Verify Program (MSPCV) and Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 type II certification. The MSPCV is based on the 10 control objectives of the Unified Certification Standard (UCS) for Cloud & MSPs. The SOC 2 certification brings Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy as its control objectives.

The MSPCV was the first certification created specifically for the managed IT services and cloud industry. Every certification comes with a written report with the entire process documented, validated and signed by a 3rd party accounting firm. The MSPCV has been reviewed by governmental agencies and regulatory bodies across the globe.

“In light of today’s digital transformation, security threats and ongoing reliance on digital technologies,” said Christopher Luise, Co-CEO of ADNET, “organizations need a way to benchmark the quality of their IT partner’s services. We strongly feel that an independent, third-party professional review of our operational controls is necessary to prove that we are worthy of our clients’ trust. If this isn’t already a factor in choosing your IT services provider, it should be.”

“More and more organizations are being required to ensure that their IT partner has been independently audited,” said Gerry Battista, Vice President, Service Operations of ADNET. “We are proud to take a leading step in this industry by committing to this process.”

“The MSPCV and SOC 2 certification is a rigorous certification process that benchmarks and verifies the quality of the company providing cloud and/or managed services,” said Charles Weaver, MSPAlliance CEO. “We are very proud to have ADNET undertake this important milestone for cloud and MSPs.”

The MSPCV certification report is signed by a third-party accounting firm. ADNET expects to achieve its MSPCV certification and SOC 2 type II certification in mid-2019.
