ADNET Technologies, LLC is seeking a skilled TAC (Technical Assistance Center) Escalation Engineer to apply their expertise to support our clients through managed services, telephone, remote, on site and email support while ensuring client satisfaction. The TAC Escalation Engineer is focused on critical client issues requiring high technical skills and will help train and mentor other members of the TAC Team.

This position is primarily located in ADNET’s Farmington, CT office, however from time to time travel between locations may be required.

  • Provide technical support to ADNET clients based on established procedures through various support mediums (telephone, email and remote) with emphasis on working on critical/challenging issues.
  • Provide remote services for ADNET managed services clients based on established procedures.
  • Maintain information regarding solutions and client changes in our case management system and network documentation.
  • Recommend proactive solutions to recurring support issues.
  • Build, configure and troubleshoot PC hardware and understand PC hardware concepts.
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop operating systems and applications.
  • Support and maintain ADNET internal network systems.
  • Handle administrative duties to maintain good client and vendor relations.
  • Stay current on industry trends and technology, which may affect operations or client expectations.


  • A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical experience with a focus on end user support in a network environment or a combination of education and experience. Possess at least one major certification in network operating systems, virtualization technology, network infrastructure or cloud computing.
  • Must possess ability to work in and troubleshoot various desktop, server and network environments. Must possess a pleasant and professional speaking voice. Keen attention to detail and follow-up skills. Must have the ability to think logically and deductively to resolve technical issues. Must be focused on finding the shortest path to problem resolution. An ability to operate with minimal supervision. Must be driven and well-organized. Ability to thrive working both independently and in a team environment. Have experience mentoring other team members.
  • Experience using a PSA or Help Desk ticket system is a plus
  • An ability to work in a professional office environment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle for transportation to and from ADNET’s office and client locations as required. Occasional overnight travel required to attend training or visit a client site.
